The challenge

A network that does a lot, a website that didn't show it

Nätverket 100% brings together women who work in retail, property and placemaking in Sweden. It was founded in 2006, has just over 150 members and organises around 25 events a year in three regions.

The old website was hard to manage and did not show how much was going on. What the network offers was tucked away far down the homepage. Upcoming and past events shared a single list. Much of the work was also done by hand: every sign-up was approved manually, and the member register was kept in Excel, separate from the website. The new website had to be live before invitations went out for the 20th anniversary in November 2026.

What we did

  1. Activities first, then what membership offers

We built the website around what the network wanted visitors to understand: first what is happening, then what membership offers and finally how to become a member. That order shapes both the homepage and the menu.

So the homepage opens with upcoming events under the heading "Närmast på tur" (Coming up next). Each event is shown with its date, region, time and venue, and a link to sign up.

  2. Sign-up with a cap on places, a waiting list and automatic emails

Each event has a fixed number of places. While there is room, a sign-up is confirmed without anyone having to approve it; once the places run out, the next sign-up goes on a waiting list. Confirmations, waiting-list notices and emails when a place frees up all go out automatically. The network can see the sign-ups in an admin view and export them.

Non-members can apply for a trial visit, and the network approves the application. If an event is open to everyone, it can be booked without logging in. We chose the technical set-up that worked best and cost least for the network: as few systems as possible to maintain, and a smooth process for the people who run the events.

  3. The members moved across to the new website

In total, 147 member accounts were moved from the old website, covering both members and pending applications. Their details came with them, as did any existing profile pictures. Members log in to their own profile, find other members in the member directory and see their bookings.

The member register now sits in the same system as the login, and anyone who becomes a member is automatically added to the newsletter list.

  4. Upcoming and past events in separate tabs

The activities page splits the events into two tabs. In October 2026 the "Tidigare" (Past) tab held 300 events, 291 of them moved from the old website. The archive runs over numbered pages.

Upcoming events can be filtered by region, so each member sees what is on in their own region.

The result

The website launched in August 2026, ahead of the November anniversary. The network now adds its own events in Webflow with ease, and the new set-up saves a lot of time on the internal administration of members and sign-ups.
