REQUEST A QUOTE FOR A WEBSITE OR SEO
Tell us what you need and we will come back with a price estimate based on your enquiry. If you would like to agree the details in a meeting, we are happy to – and you always get the fixed price before anything is built. Websites start at SEK 25,000 (≈ €2,200) depending on scope; SEO comes as a fixed-price audit or a monthly agreement with no minimum term. The quote is free and commits you to nothing.
What you get when you request a quote
- A fixed price before anything is built – not an hourly rate that grows during the project.
- A recommendation on build track and scope, which you can use even if you choose another agency.
- A quote you can compare, often with a modular package: the base build, add-ons and additional costs on separate lines.
- SEO as a fixed-price audit or a monthly agreement with no minimum term. You own the content, Search Console and analytics accounts.

The price of a website depends on what your website actually needs, not on a package. A landing page or small website starts at SEK 25,000 (≈ €2,200), most websites we build come in between SEK 50,000 and 135,000 (≈ €4,500–12,000), and larger, complex projects start at SEK 140,000 (≈ €12,500), excluding VAT.

Always included – whatever the level
Every website we build, whatever the price, is built on strategy, has a custom design and meets the same technical standard.
- Strategy before design
- Custom design
- Always a solid SEO foundation
- You own the account, the code and the content

Examples that tend to land here
- A mid-sized website with strong branding, plus a one-off SEO effort: keyword research, page structure and copy.
- A website where the message and tone of voice are developed in a workshop with several stakeholders on your side, before anything is designed.
04
Larger or more complex website
From SEK 140,000 (≈ €12,500)
Large websites, several languages, custom integrations or a rebuild where the search visibility has to come along.
From SEK 140,000 (≈ €12,500)
Larger or more complex website
Examples that tend to land here
- A rebuild of a larger website that ranks: URL mapping, redirects and a new search strategy.
- A multilingual website, or integrations with your own systems.
Every level can include strategy, copy, SEO and migration. A small website where we start from scratch can cost more than a larger one where the groundwork exists – it is the scope that decides, not the size. Prices exclude VAT; the euro figures are approximate.
What affects the price of a website?
Ten things, and all of them can be answered in a first call.
- The starting point – do the logo, message and copy exist – or are we starting from scratch?
- Strategy – how much help you need with positioning, message and structure before anything is designed.
- Number of page templates – not the number of pages. Five pages on one template is less work than five templates.
- Copy – how much we write, compared with what you supply.
- Design – following your existing identity, or developing it – and whether images, illustrations or animations need to be produced.
- SEO and AEO – the technical foundation is always included. An SEO effort with keyword research, SEO copy and schema markup is an add-on you choose.
- Languages – one, or several from the start.
- Integrations – with a CRM, a booking system or your own systems.
- Migration – twenty URLs to move, or a hundred and sixty.
- Build track – Webflow or a coded website with a headless CMS.
Describe what you need in an enquiry, or book a first call with us – we will get back to you quickly with a fixed price, before anything is built.
Your own team can run the website easily, by hand in the CMS or with AI. If you want ongoing help, we are there, with no lock-in period.
For SEO, the first step is often a fixed-price SEO audit, quoted on request. It is included if you have signed an ongoing SEO agreement. Ongoing work usually costs between SEK 10,000 and 50,000 (≈ €900–4,500) a month. For smaller companies selling in Sweden in less competitive niches, under SEK 10,000 a month can be enough – once the groundwork has been laid in a one-off project, often when we rebuild the website. Several of our successful partnerships work this way. What decides where you end up is described in the guide to what a website costs and the guide to what an SEO agency costs.

When you send an enquiry, you get a price estimate, and the fixed price once the details are agreed. The indicative prices are here so that you can decide whether we are the right agency before you spend time on an enquiry.
A QUOTE YOU CAN COMPARE
Our quotes are clear and easy to compare – both with other agencies and with doing parts of the work yourselves. What each part involves is described on the pages about web development and SEO.
We do not price on guesswork. If your enquiry describes what you need, we can usually give you a clear price estimate within two working days, and we set the fixed amount once we know what has to be solved before the work can start. What we need is answers to a dozen questions – not a thick requirements document. You do not need to have every answer: send what you know and we will ask for the rest – or cover it in a meeting if you prefer.

You send an enquiry
Describe what you know. If you do not have answers to every question, that is fine – we will ask for whatever is missing.
You get a price estimate
Based on your enquiry, you get a price estimate and our recommendation on build track and scope – or, for SEO, on an audit or a monthly agreement. If you would like to go through the details, we are happy to meet. If the timing is wrong for SEO, we recommend waiting, for example if your offering changes every other week or the website is about to be rebuilt.
You get a fixed quote
Once the details are agreed, in a meeting or by email. It is itemised by part, with add-ons, additional costs and the validity period spelled out – and, for a website where the build track is still open, the total cost for year 1 and year 3. If you accept it, you get a project plan to approve before anything is built. A website normally takes 4–6 weeks to launch, or 2–3 weeks with a limited scope.
The questions the quote is based on
The quote is based on the questions below. Send what you know – you do not need an answer to everything; we will ask for the rest, or cover it in a meeting if you prefer. The questions are the same whether you need a website, SEO or both.
- What should the website or the SEO work do for your business: more enquiries, trust before a purchase, recruitment?
- Who needs to understand what you do within ten seconds – and what should that person do next?
- What does your product or service do? And just as important: what does it not do?
- Which three objections do you hear most often in sales conversations?
- What is the buyer's alternative – a competitor, an in-house build or doing nothing at all?
- Which audiences does the website need to serve at the same time: customers, investors, candidates, partners?
- What do you have to start from: a logo, brand guidelines, a finished design in Figma or an existing website that ranks?
- Who will update the website after launch, and how often?
- Which systems does the website need to connect to: a CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce, for example), an email tool, booking or your product?
- What does the website need to handle in eighteen months' time – more languages, careers pages, investor pages, customer log-in?
- Which regulatory frameworks govern how you can phrase things, such as medical device claims or financial information?
- What should be measurable at launch, and what is a good outcome after three months?
The answers determine which build track and scope we recommend, or whether SEO should start with an audit. If you ask other agencies the same questions, you can compare the quotes like for like.
What a quote from a web agency should include – and what ours includes
You should be able to compare one web agency's quote with another's. That takes at least five things: a fixed price or a clear pricing model, a definition of what is included and what costs extra, a statement of who owns the domain, accounts and content, a delivery time that says what is required from you, and a validity period. If any of that is missing, you are comparing guesses. The full list of requirements, and how to compare three quotes side by side, is in the guide to website quotes. Here we describe what ours looks like.
Our quote consists of a stripped-back base build at a fixed price, clearly defined add-ons and – when the choice is open – a comparison of the two build tracks on total cost for year 1 and year 3. The base build is the whole website: page structure, design, build, technical SEO and AEO foundation, launch and training for your team. We deliberately keep it lean, so that the starting cost is low and you only pay for what you need. Anything extra is listed on its own line with its own price:
- Building new pages yourselves: a component library or page-builder package with more section types and page templates, so you can add pages without us.
- Updating content with AI support: a context file with your tone of voice, your facts and the website's structure, connected via MCP – a connection that lets AI tools read and update the content – so the copy does not become generic.
- Taking the design further: when you have your own material, such as brand guidelines or a design system, that should be developed rather than simply followed.
- Adding languages, integrations or a migration: priced by scope, never baked into a lump sum.
With Webflow, the cost sits in the build, and after that you can run the website yourselves for the platform fee. With a coded website on a headless CMS, the build price is often lower, but structural changes require code; if you have your own developer you can take over completely, otherwise a small maintenance agreement is often a good idea. That is why we set out the total cost for year 1 and year 3 for both tracks, with the assumptions visible.
SEO is quoted as a fixed-price audit or as a monthly agreement with no minimum term – what drives the amount is covered in the next section. We set up Google Ads at a fixed project price and manage it by the hour or for a fixed monthly fee, never as a percentage of the ad budget. The set-up is described on the page about our Google Ads agency.
SEO quotes – what drives the price
Ongoing SEO usually costs SEK 10,000–50,000 (≈ €900–4,500) a month, depending on competition and scope. If it is unclear what is needed, we often start with a fixed-price SEO audit. After that we work to a plan that we reprioritise together with you, for a fixed monthly amount and with no minimum term. You own the content, Search Console and analytics accounts from day one.
Where you end up in that range depends on four things:
- Competition – a niche with few competitors takes less work for the same visibility than an industry where many companies buy SEO.
- Scope – technical SEO only, or technical work, content, AEO and off-page SEO combined.
- Content – how much new content the plan requires is often the biggest cost item.
- Starting point – a website with neglected technical foundations, or content that competes with itself, needs cleaning up before anything new is built.
The audit is quoted at a fixed price on request and is included if you have signed an ongoing SEO agreement. For smaller companies in less competitive niches, under SEK 10,000 a month can be enough once the groundwork has been laid in a one-off project – often when we rebuild the website. For Startabolag, a smaller one-off effort followed by 3.5 hours a month was enough, because the niche is small and competition is low – a set-up we suggest when it fits, not a bigger agreement out of habit. Pricing models, contract terms and red flags are covered in SEO agency price levels in Sweden.
What decides the price of a website?
The price is not decided by the number of pages, but by how much has to be solved before the build can start. If you have a logo and a visual direction and can explain what you do, the effort is smallest. If the product and customers are there but the message has not been put into words – message hierarchy, tone of voice, site architecture – we start there, and then the work before the build is bigger than the build itself. If a website that already ranks is being replaced, the migration comes on top, so that you keep your visibility.
What else drives the price – from the number of page templates to languages, integrations and build track – is listed under 'Understand what affects the price' in the pricing section above, and all of it can be answered in your enquiry. If you would like to work it out yourselves first, you will find the calculator for what a website costs to build and own in our pricing guide. If you are an early-stage company, we describe the starting points in more detail on the page for startups and scale-ups, and for all companies on the page about a new website.
Why web agencies rarely publish indicative prices – and why we do
Web agencies avoid indicative prices because the scope is rarely known when the question is asked, and because a low indicative price loses deals while a high one scares people off. We publish price levels anyway. A buyer who can see where they fit sends a better enquiry, and an enquiry that does not fit saves time for both sides.
The industry's usual answers are the same whoever asks: every project is unique, the price depends on the scope, give us a call. All of that is true, and none of it helps someone who has to set a budget. Our view is that an indicative price is useful as long as it says what typically falls within it. That is why we show examples for each price level and what affects the price – and leave the fixed price until after an enquiry or a call. If SEK 25,000 (≈ €2,200) is over your budget, it is better to know that now. In that case we would rather recommend adjusting the website you already have, or another supplier, than send you a quote you cannot accept.
At Startabolag AB, we contacted SEOS Design in summer 2025 to update our website. There were some challenges in connecting the old database to the new website, but SEOS solved them smoothly and professionally. We are very happy with the new website. SEOS has also helped us increase our organic traffic and has optimised our search ads. We use SEOS on an ongoing basis to improve our visibility further. We warmly recommend SEOS to anyone who needs a new website or wants to strengthen their digital presence.

Common questions about requesting a quote
How quickly do we get a quote?
We reply within 24 hours, and you normally get a price estimate within two working days of your enquiry. The fixed quote follows once the details are agreed – in a meeting if you like, otherwise by email. If you have a deadline to meet, tell us and we will prioritise accordingly.
Does it cost anything to request a quote?
No. The estimate, the quote and any meeting are free and commit you to nothing. You get a recommendation on build track, scope or SEO set-up whether or not you go ahead with us, and you can use it when you approach other agencies. All we ask is that you answer the questions you can, so that the quote is based on your situation and not on assumptions.
Can we get an indicative price without a meeting?
Yes. Send an enquiry and we will come back with a price estimate based on it – no meeting needed. The general indicative prices are in the pricing section above, with four price levels for a website from SEK 25,000 (≈ €2,200) and SEO as a fixed-price audit or a monthly agreement. If you would like to work it out yourselves first, you will find the calculator for what a website costs to build and own in our pricing guide.
Can we get a quote for both SEO and a website?
Yes, and it is a common set-up. We often recommend two steps: build the website first, with a solid technical SEO foundation, and start the monthly agreement once it has launched – which is what we did for Startabolag. The quote separates the one-off price for the build from the monthly amount for SEO, so you can accept one part and hold off on the other. If you also need Google Ads, that is quoted as a separate line.
Do we have to start with an SEO audit?
No. If it is unclear what the website needs, we often start with a fixed-price audit: the current position, a prioritised action list and a plan you can carry out yourselves, with us or with someone else. The audit is included if you have signed an ongoing SEO agreement. If the need is already clear, we go straight to a monthly agreement with no minimum term.
How long is your quote valid, and can the price change afterwards?
The validity period is stated in the quote. The price is set for the scope described in it – if the scope changes, we rewrite the quote rather than adding costs afterwards. Minor adjustments that come up during the work fit within the price – we price a good result for your needs, not the number of pages. SEO agreements run month to month with no minimum term. Requesting a quote does not commit you to anything; it only becomes binding when you accept it.
