NEW WEBSITE — REDESIGN
WEBSITE REDESIGN FOR BUSINESSES
Our website redesign services – and new websites for businesses – are built on strategy and custom design, with a delivery that combines AI-assisted development and human expertise to give you more for your money, in both quality and content. The price depends on the scope and is fixed before we start, and we normally launch within 4–6 weeks. We are based in Stockholm and work with companies wherever they are. After launch, you run the website yourselves, with our help when you need it, or leave it entirely to us.
A WEBSITE THAT BRINGS IN BUSINESS
A new company website is a purchase in two parts: what you see and what lies behind it. What lies behind it – strategy, structure and a solid technical foundation – decides whether the website brings in enquiries or just sits there. We build websites for growing companies in Webflow or as coded websites with a headless CMS, and the price depends on how much has to be solved before the build can start – not on the number of pages.
The way we work gives you more for your money: AI-assisted development provides the pace, while human expertise and proven processes provide the quality – in strategy, design, content and technology. The build is just the start. After that, you choose how the website is run: entirely by yourselves, by yourselves with our help when needed, or entirely by us. We describe how we build under web development; this page is about what you are buying.

Our process
FROM ORDER TO LAUNCHED WEBSITE
At Startabolag AB, we contacted SEOS Design in summer 2025 to update our website. There were some challenges in connecting the old database to the new website, but SEOS solved them smoothly and professionally. We are very happy with the new website. SEOS has also helped us increase our organic traffic and has optimised our search ads. We use SEOS on an ongoing basis to improve our visibility further. We warmly recommend SEOS to anyone who needs a new website or wants to strengthen their digital presence.
Per Englund RydbergCo-founder, StartabolagTranslated from SwedishOrder
You request a quote, and we talk about your business, your existing material and the platform. You get a fixed price with a recommended build track, plus a project plan to approve before anything is built.
Material and decisions
You appoint a decision-maker and provide the material the project needs. We set the page structure and URL plan – plus a message hierarchy if the message needs developing, and a map of the existing URLs if a migration is involved.
Design and build
You approve the design before the build starts – and we are not done until you are happy – and so are we. We build on the chosen track, on a solid technical SEO foundation, add the content and validate performance against Core Web Vitals before launch.
Launch and handover
We publish, connect the domain, set up analytics and, for a migration, add redirects. We train your team so you can manage the website yourselves, and hand over the accounts. After that, you choose how the website is run: entirely by yourselves, by yourselves with our help when needed, or entirely by us.
How much does a new website cost with us?
fixed price before we start
The price is set by what your website actually needs. Below you will find price indications and examples of websites at each level.
Always included – whatever the level
Every website we build, whatever the price, is built on strategy, has a custom design and meets the same technical standard.
- Strategy before design
- Custom design
- Always a solid SEO foundation
- You own the account, the code and the content
01
Landing page or small website
SEK 25,000–45,000 (≈ €2,200–4,000)
A landing page, a campaign page or a small website where the brand identity and copy already exist.
SEK 25,000–45,000 (≈ €2,200–4,000)
Landing page or small website
Examples that tend to land here
- A landing page for a campaign or a service.
- A small website on your existing visual identity, with your own copy and images.
02
Website on an existing strategic foundation
SEK 50,000–85,000 (≈ €4,500–7,600)
A complete website when the logo, direction and message are there to build on.
SEK 50,000–85,000 (≈ €4,500–7,600)
Website on an existing strategic foundation
Examples that tend to land here
- A normal-sized website with a blog or case studies: page structure, custom design, build and an SEO and AEO foundation.
- A small website where we start from scratch – message, structure and material developed together with you.
03
Website with strategy and content
SEK 90,000–135,000 (≈ €8,000–12,000)
When the message, the copy or an SEO effort needs to be done before the build.
SEK 90,000–135,000 (≈ €8,000–12,000)
Website with strategy and content
Examples that tend to land here
- A mid-sized website with strong branding, plus a one-off SEO effort: keyword research, page structure and copy.
- A website where the message and tone of voice are developed in a workshop with several stakeholders on your side, before anything is designed.
04
Larger or more complex website
From SEK 140,000 (≈ €12,500)
Large websites, several languages, custom integrations or a rebuild where the search visibility has to come along.
From SEK 140,000 (≈ €12,500)
Larger or more complex website
Examples that tend to land here
- A rebuild of a larger website that ranks: URL mapping, redirects and a new search strategy.
- A multilingual website, or integrations with your own systems.
Every level can include strategy, copy, SEO and migration. A small website where we start from scratch can cost more than a larger one where the groundwork exists – it is the scope that decides, not the size. Prices exclude VAT; the euro figures are approximate.
What affects the price of a website?
Ten things, and all of them can be answered in a first call.
- The starting point – do the logo, message and copy exist – or are we starting from scratch?
- Strategy – how much help you need with positioning, message and structure before anything is designed.
- Number of page templates – not the number of pages. Five pages on one template is less work than five templates.
- Copy – how much we write, compared with what you supply.
- Design – following your existing identity, or developing it – and whether images, illustrations or animations need to be produced.
- SEO and AEO – the technical foundation is always included. An SEO effort with keyword research, SEO copy and schema markup is an add-on you choose.
- Languages – one, or several from the start.
- Integrations – with a CRM, a booking system or your own systems.
- Migration – twenty URLs to move, or a hundred and sixty.
- Build track – Webflow or a coded website with a headless CMS.
Describe what you need in an enquiry, or book a first call with us – we will get back to you quickly with a fixed price, before anything is built.
Your own team can run the website easily, by hand in the CMS or with AI. If you want ongoing help, we are there, with no lock-in period.

Common questions about buying a new website
How much does a company website cost?
A company website costs from SEK 25,000 (≈ €2,200) for a landing page or a small website using your existing visual identity. Most of the websites we build come in at between SEK 50,000 and 135,000 (≈ €4,500–12,000) excluding VAT. The price depends on your starting point – how much strategy, messaging and content has to be developed before the build can start – not on the number of pages. You get a fixed price before anything is built, and we explain what affects it in the questions below.
What affects the price of a new website?
Ten things, and all of them can be settled in a first call. The one that weighs most is the starting point – how much has to be solved before the build can start. Two companies with ten pages each can have completely different needs, and we price the need, not the page count.
- The starting point – do the logo, message and copy exist, or are we starting from scratch?
- Strategy – how much help you need with positioning, message and structure before anything is designed. If we need to get several stakeholders on your side aligned behind a strategy, that is a bigger job than refining a message that is already in place.
Full SEO work – keyword research, a page structure built around the keywords, SEO copy and schema markup – is an optional add-on, and if it is done alongside the build, the structure and copy are right from the start.
- Languages – whether the website should be multilingual from the start.
- Integrations – with a CRM, a booking system or your own systems.
- Migration – twenty URLs to move, or a hundred and sixty.
- Build track and self-service – Webflow or a coded website with a headless CMS, and whether you want a component library or documentation for further development with AI.
Every price level can include strategy, copy, SEO and migration. A small website where we start from scratch can therefore cost more than a larger one where the groundwork already exists. To work out what the website will cost to build and own over time, use the calculator for what a website costs to build and own. You get the fixed price before anything is built – request a quote here.
What is our starting point – and what does it mean for the price?
There are three common starting points, and they explain most of the price difference between two websites that look the same size.
The groundwork is in place. You have a logo and a visual direction you are happy with, and you can explain what you do, for whom and why it is better than the alternative. Then we handle the page structure, design, build and the technical SEO and AEO foundation. We refine your message, but we do not write it from scratch. This is the lowest price for a full website.
The words are not there yet. You have a product and customers, but the pitch sounds different depending on who delivers it, and all you have is a logo and a pitch deck. Then we work out the message first – message hierarchy, tone of voice and page architecture – followed by design and build. We produce imagery and icons where they are missing. It costs more, because the work before the build outweighs the build itself.
You are replacing a website that ranks. You have a website that attracts traffic but no longer supports the business. Then we add URL mapping, redirects and a new search strategy, so your visibility carries over. Content that works is kept; the rest is rewritten or removed.
Do we get a fixed price – and what happens if something is added?
Yes. After a free call you get a fixed price for the scope we have agreed on, with add-ons on separate lines. That is the agreement.
Then there is reality: a website can rarely be scoped one hundred per cent in advance, and the further the strategy work progresses, the more improvements both sides come up with. We are not the kind of supplier who answers "that is not in the contract" to every small addition – reasonable adjustments are covered by the price. If something bigger comes up – more page templates, an extra language, an integration – we price it separately before it is built, so you always know the total. We price a good result for your needs, not the number of pages.
Can we start with something smaller than a full website?
Yes. A landing page, a campaign page or a small website using your existing visual identity starts at SEK 25,000 (≈ €2,200) – and it too is built strategically, with a custom design. A full website of normal scope – strategy, design based on your identity and a build with a technical foundation – usually comes in at between SEK 50,000 and 135,000 (≈ €4,500–12,000). If you are unsure which you need, describe your situation in the quote request and we will tell you what fits. We describe landing pages on a page of their own.
What do you get when you buy a new website from us?
You buy a finished website, and the price depends on how much has to be solved before the build can start – not on how many pages the website has. That is the difference from buying a website priced per page: two companies with ten pages each can have completely different needs, and we price the need.
Whatever the scope, you get the same foundation. The page structure starts from what your buyers need to know. The design is created for your identity. We build in Webflow or as a coded website with a headless CMS, on a solid technical SEO foundation. Launch and training for your team are included. The quote page explains how to request a quote and what it includes.
Is SEO included when you build a new website?
A solid technical SEO foundation is always included: clean HTML and URL structure, metadata, performance that passes Core Web Vitals and a structure that both Google and AI assistants can read. That foundation is what makes the website findable – and makes AI assistants describe you correctly.
What you can add is the work on top of that foundation: keyword research, a page structure that follows the keywords, SEO copy and schema markup. It is best done alongside the build, when the structure and copy are being produced anyway, but starting after launch works just as well. If you want the website to drive business through search, we explain how on the pages about our SEO service and AI visibility and AEO.
What makes your website different from an AI-generated one?
The strategy behind it, real design and the quality of the delivery. Anyone can generate a website in an afternoon these days – and it shows: the same structure, the same phrasing, the same kind of images. A website meant to bring in business has to answer what your particular buyers need to know, in what order, and why you are the right choice. That requires someone who understands your business before anything is designed.
That is why every project starts with strategy: who the website is for, what it should get visitors to do and which objections it has to answer. Then we create a custom design for your identity and your buyers – not a template. That is what we mean by real design, and we describe it in more detail under web design. AI makes a skilled designer better, not redundant: with the right skills, tools and processes, a designer using AI produces far more polished, carefully worked-out designs than someone without those skills – the difference shows in the details.
The build is AI-assisted, with a developer in control: AI provides the pace, while the developer steers, reviews the result and handles the exceptions. That is why you get more for your money in both quality and content – and part of the reason our prices can start where they do. Performance is measured against Core Web Vitals, responsive design is checked at every breakpoint, and a clean, clear structure means both Google and AI assistants can read and describe you correctly. We describe what else makes a website ready for AI search in the guide to what makes a website modern.
When should you not buy a new website?
When the problem can be solved on the website you already have. We tell you so on the first call, because a website that is not needed is a bad deal for both sides.
- The design feels dated but the structure holds up. Then adjusting the design and content is often enough. We describe what can be fixed on an existing website in the section on fixing your existing website or building a new one, and what actually makes a website modern in the guide to what makes a website modern.
- The website ranks and attracts traffic. Do not build from scratch. The right purchase is a rebuild with migration, where every old URL is mapped and given a 301 redirect so your visibility carries over – the method is in the step-by-step guide to migration.
- The offer changes every other week. Wait until it has settled. A website built on a message that is replaced three months later is rarely worth the money.
- You need a simple presence and have no growth plan. Then building a simple website yourselves in a tool such as Framer may be enough – and when the website needs to become a channel that brings in business, we are here.
If you are unsure whether to build it yourselves or get help, we set out the arguments in the guide to building it yourself or getting help. And if you are comparing agencies, feel free to put the sixteen questions in the guide to choosing a web agency to us. We will answer all of them.
How does it work, from order to launch?
Normally 4–6 weeks from brief to launch. If you need to go live faster, we can fast-track the launch in 2–3 weeks with a limited scope and frequent check-ins. The pace is set by how quickly decisions are made and material is delivered – rarely by technology. That is why the most important thing you can do before we start is to appoint one person with the final say.
What you need to have ready depends on your starting point. If the groundwork is in place: a logo, a visual direction and copy or factual material. If the message needs developing: time for a workshop and access to customer insight. If you are replacing an existing website: access to Search Console, the current CMS and analytics data as well. You always need control of the domain.
During the project, there are four decision points where we wait for you: page structure, design, content and approval before launch. The faster you decide at those points, the closer the project comes to four weeks. Before launch, the website is checked against the website checklist for 2026: technical SEO, performance, security and accessibility. The steps are summarised further up the page, and the whole process is described step by step in the guide to building a business website.
What do we need to have ready before you can start?
Nothing needs to be ready – we help you all the way. But for the project to run smoothly and launch as quickly as possible, three things help: one person who can make decisions, control of your domain and whatever material already exists. If the groundwork is in place, that means a logo and copy or factual material, plus decisions at three to four check-ins. If the message needs developing, it means time for a workshop, a decision on positioning and access to customer insight. If you are replacing a website that ranks, it means access to Search Console, the current CMS and analytics data – and a decision on what can be removed. You do not need a thick requirements document – if you want to send a brief, one to two pages is enough, ideally using our template for a website enquiry. If something is missing, we sort it out at the start – what matters is a short path to decisions.
Do you build new websites for companies in Stockholm – and elsewhere?
We are based in Stockholm and build websites for companies wherever they are. Our office is at Götgatan 19 in Södermalm, and we are happy to hold the kick-off meeting there. The rest of the project is run remotely, with the same check-ins wherever you are. Our clients in Stockholm include Startabolag, Rebel Work, Tillväxtstöd, Renasens and Eyedentity. What decides how the project goes is not where you are, but how quickly decisions are made and what the website has to do for your business. We describe how we work with Stockholm companies on the page about our web agency in Stockholm. If you are comparing agencies in Stockholm, our overview is in the guide to choosing a web agency in Stockholm.
Webflow or a coded website – which track is right for us?
The one that suits your situation – and the choice is yours. We start from your needs. Webflow often fits when your marketing team will publish and build new pages themselves; a coded website with a headless CMS when performance, integrations with your own systems or ownership of the code matter most. For us, the two tracks are equal, and we make a recommendation once we know more about your needs. For e-commerce, we recommend Shopify in most cases. The technology behind both tracks is described on the page about web development, and how we work in Webflow on the page about Webflow development. If you want to compare the tools yourselves, there is a decision table in the section on which tool to build your website in.
Can you work from our existing design or Figma file?
Yes. If you have a finished design in Figma or a brand manual, we build to it – which normally lowers the price, because the visual groundwork already exists. We review the file first: responsive behaviour, what should be CMS-driven and whether anything is missing to make the website maintainable. If you want the identity developed rather than followed, that is an add-on with its own price.
What happens after launch – partner or on your own?
Both work, and you choose after launch – not before. Many clients start with one and switch to the other as their needs change.
With us as your partner. We keep improving the website and use it to drive business: maintenance and support for anything beyond what the editor can do – new sections, a campaign landing page, integrations – and SEO and AEO so the website is visible where buyers search, in Google and in AI answers. One example: for Startabolag, an efficient website build, a one-off SEO project and a proactive agreement of just 3.5 hours a month were enough to increase the number of leads through the website markedly. None of our agreements has a lock-in period.
On your own. If you want to run the website yourselves, that works too. You publish, edit and build new pages yourselves – in the Webflow editor, or in your headless CMS for a coded website. Structural changes to a coded website require code. If you have your own developer, you can take over completely whenever you like – our websites are built and documented for that. If not, it is often a good idea to have us on hand when needed, by the hour. Training for your team is always included.
Whichever you choose, you own everything: account, domain, code and content. You can take over whenever you want, and you are never dependent on us to access your own website.
Do we need an ongoing agreement with you after launch?
No. You choose between two options: running the website yourselves, with training and documentation from us, or continuing with us as your partner for maintenance, SEO and AEO. If we build in Webflow, you need no agreement at all to publish and build pages. On a coded website, larger structural changes require code. If you have your own developer, you take over completely; if not, it is often a good idea to have us on hand when needed. You publish and edit content yourselves in your CMS. None of the agreements we offer has a lock-in period.
What happens to our old website and its rankings when the new one launches?
Rankings usually carry over if every old URL is mapped and given a 301 redirect to the right page on the new website before launch. That is part of a rebuild with migration, along with submitting a new sitemap in Search Console and monitoring indexing during the first few months. The old website is only shut down once the new one has been verified. If your current website has no organic traffic to protect, no migration is needed and the price is lower.
