Our process

FROM KICK-OFF TO A WEBSITE YOU CAN RUN YOURSELVES

We contacted SEOS with a tight deadline and a brand book. They asked the right questions, quickly got to grips with our technology and what we wanted to say – and in under three weeks they launched a website that explains Eyedentity in the right way.

  1. Kick-off – on Södermalm or by video

We go through what the website needs to do for the business, who will run it afterwards and what you already have to start from. This is where you choose a build track – Webflow or a coded website with a headless CMS – with our recommendation as input, and you get a brief and a project plan to approve.

  2. Structure and design

We define the page structure and content, using keyword research as input if you have ordered it. Then we create a unique design based on your brand guidelines – if you have none, or they need sharpening, we help with that too. And we are not done until you and we are both happy.

  3. A scalable website build

We build the component library, pages and CMS, and set the website up so it is easy to update with AI. Technical SEO is always included: metadata, a clean HTML and URL structure, and top performance measured against Core Web Vitals. Schema markup is available as an add-on. Everything is tested for function, responsiveness and speed before launch.

  4. Launch, training and handover

We help you point the domain, set up hosting and publish the new website. If you want, we set up tracking and train your team so that you can manage the website yourselves from day one. An ongoing agreement with us for maintenance and/or further development is optional – with no lock-in, of course.

    Landing page or small website

    SEK 25,000–45,000 (≈ €2,200–4,000)

A landing page, a campaign page or a small website where the brand identity and copy already exist.

    SEK 25,000–45,000 (≈ €2,200–4,000)

    Landing page or small website

Examples that tend to land here

    • A landing page for a campaign or a service.
    • A small website on your existing visual identity, with your own copy and images.
  2. 02

Website on an existing strategic foundation

    SEK 50,000–85,000 (≈ €4,500–7,600)

A complete website when the logo, direction and message are there to build on.

    SEK 50,000–85,000 (≈ €4,500–7,600)

Website on an existing strategic foundation

Examples that tend to land here

    • A normal-sized website with a blog or case studies: page structure, custom design, build and an SEO and AEO foundation.
    • A small website where we start from scratch – message, structure and material developed together with you.
  3. 03

    Website with strategy and content

    SEK 90,000–135,000 (≈ €8,000–12,000)

When the message, the copy or an SEO effort needs to be done before the build.

    Website with strategy and content

Examples that tend to land here

    • A mid-sized website with strong branding, plus a one-off SEO effort: keyword research, page structure and copy.
    • A website where the message and tone of voice are developed in a workshop with several stakeholders on your side, before anything is designed.
  4. 04

    Larger or more complex website

    From SEK 140,000 (≈ €12,500)

Large websites, several languages, custom integrations or a rebuild where the search visibility has to come along.

    From SEK 140,000 (≈ €12,500)

    Larger or more complex website

Examples that tend to land here

    • A rebuild of a larger website that ranks: URL mapping, redirects and a new search strategy.
    • A multilingual website, or integrations with your own systems.

Every level can include strategy, copy, SEO and migration. A small website where we start from scratch can cost more than a larger one where the groundwork exists – it is the scope that decides, not the size. Prices exclude VAT; the euro figures are approximate.

What affects the price of a website?

Ten things, and all of them can be answered in a first call.

  • The starting point – do the logo, message and copy exist – or are we starting from scratch?
  • Strategy – how much help you need with positioning, message and structure before anything is designed.
  • Number of page templates – not the number of pages. Five pages on one template is less work than five templates.
  • Copy – how much we write, compared with what you supply.
  • Design – following your existing identity, or developing it – and whether images, illustrations or animations need to be produced.
  • SEO and AEO – the technical foundation is always included. An SEO effort with keyword research, SEO copy and schema markup is an add-on you choose.
  • Languages – one, or several from the start.
  • Integrations – with a CRM, a booking system or your own systems.
  • Migration – twenty URLs to move, or a hundred and sixty.
  • Build track – Webflow or a coded website with a headless CMS.

Common questions about our web agency in Stockholm

How do you choose a web agency in Stockholm – and what are our answers?

Ask every agency you are considering three questions, us included. Who on your side can build a new page without the agency's help, and how long does it take? What do you own when the project is finished – account, code, design and content? And what does the website cost in year three, not just year one? A professional web agency answers all three directly. The answers quickly show whether the agency builds websites you can manage on your own.

Our answers, plus a fourth that we think belongs on the list:

  • You build new pages yourselves. We build in Webflow or as a coded website with a headless CMS, not in WordPress. Both tracks are designed so that a marketing team can publish without waiting for a developer.
  • You own everything. Account, code, design, content and data are yours from day one. If we stop working together, you take the website with you as it is.
  • A fixed price, and year three on the table. The price is set after an enquiry or a first call and agreed before anything is built. Add-ons are shown as add-ons, and where the choice of build track is open, we compare both on total cost in year 1 and year 3.
  • An SEO and AEO agency builds the website. The technical foundation for being found in Google and represented correctly by AI assistants is included in every build. Keyword research, SEO copy and schema markup are add-ons – ideally alongside the build, when the structure and copy are being done anyway.

If you want a complete checklist before you procure, explaining why each question matters, you will find it in the checklist for the agency meeting.

Are you a small agency?

Yes. SEOS Design is a small agency on Södermalm. You have direct contact with the person who designs and builds your website, and the same people are with you from kick-off to launch. The flip side is capacity: we take on few projects at a time, so we confirm the start date in the first call.

Where in Stockholm are you based – and who do you work with?

Our office is at Götgatan 19 in Stockholm, on Södermalm. We are happy to hold the kick-off, design review and launch in person – at our office or yours – or by video when that suits better. Call +46 8 490 096 20 or book a time via the contact page.

Among the Stockholm companies we work with are Startabolag, which sells shelf companies and helps businesses with company liquidations, Tillväxtstöd, which helps companies find and apply for grants and funding, Renasens, a technology company in textile recycling, and Rebel Work. Several of them run their websites themselves after launch, and several keep us on for ongoing SEO, advertising and further development.

What comes on top of the build price?

Three items. Platform and hosting: Webflow's platform fee, or hosting for a coded website. Domain and any third-party services, for example a cookie banner, a booking system or a newsletter tool. And what you choose to add after launch: maintenance with no lock-in, ongoing SEO or new features. None of it is mandatory, and everything is in the quote before you say yes. If you want to calculate the full cost over time, use the calculator for what a website costs to build and own.

Webflow or a coded website – which is cheapest over three years?

It depends on how much you plan to change the website over that time. The difference between the tracks lies less in the build price than in the economics after launch, which is why we calculate both on total cost in year 1 and year 3 in every quote where the choice is open. The tracks are equal first choices for us, and we never suggest one out of habit.

  • Webflow: build price plus Webflow's platform fee for hosting and CMS. You build new pages and change the structure yourselves, so by year 3 the only additions are essentially the platform fee and anything extra you have chosen to order.
  • Coded website with a headless CMS: build price plus hosting. You manage the content yourselves in the CMS interface, but structural changes require code. If you have your own developer, you take over completely. If you do not, a maintenance agreement with no lock-in is often a good idea – in our experience from around SEK 5,000 (≈ €450) a month – and then you get ongoing development, integrations and new features.

How we build, migrate and maintain in Webflow is described on the page about our Webflow agency. If you sell products online, we recommend Shopify in most cases rather than either track.

What happens in the first call?

The first call is free. In it we find out what the website needs to do for your business, what you already have to start from and whether a new website is the right investment right now. If it is, you get a fixed price and a recommendation on build track. Then we book the kick-off, on Södermalm or by video – the steps after that are listed in the process section further up the page.

You have direct contact with the person who designs and builds. You approve the design as a clickable prototype before development starts. How we work with UX, UI and the visual side is described on the page about web design. Delivery time: normally 4–6 weeks from brief to launch. If you need to go live faster, we can do a fast-track launch in 2–3 weeks with a limited scope and frequent check-ins.

Do we need to meet in person during the project?

No. We are happy to meet on Södermalm for the kick-off, design review and launch, but the whole project can be run by video. Most clients choose an in-person kick-off and remote check-ins after that. The format does not affect price, schedule or result – choose what suits your team.

Webflow or a coded website – how do you choose?

We start from your needs and ask two questions. Who will change the website's structure after launch? If the answer is the marketing team itself, that points to Webflow. Does the website need to pull data from your own systems, meet very high performance requirements or deliver content to several channels? If so, that points to a coded website with a headless CMS. If neither fits, for example for e-commerce, we say so and recommend Shopify. The choice is yours – we make a recommendation once we know more about your needs.

Do you build in WordPress?

No. We build new websites in Webflow or as coded websites with a headless CMS. WordPress relies on plugins from many different developers that have to be updated and secured one by one, and that maintenance ends up with you or with an agency you pay on an ongoing basis. Our two tracks give you a website without that dependency – in our experience with better performance and an editing experience a marketing team can handle without developers. If you have a WordPress website today, we move your content, URL structure and search value over to the track that suits you.

Which platform do you recommend for e-commerce – do you build in Shopify?

Yes. For e-commerce we recommend Shopify in most cases, and we build, migrate and develop Shopify stores. Shopify handles checkout, payments and order flow, so you do not have to maintain them yourselves, and the store can be run by a marketing team without developers. Webflow and coded websites with a headless CMS are our tracks for websites meant to generate enquiries and build trust – not for stores with a product range and a shopping cart. How we work with e-commerce, including SEO and conversion rate optimisation for the store, is described on the page about our Shopify agency.

Can we update the website ourselves?

Yes. In Webflow you publish, edit content and build new pages from the component library without knowing how to code. With a headless CMS you manage all content yourselves in the CMS interface, while new page types and structural changes require a developer – your own, or us when needed. On both tracks you get training at launch and a context file that lets you produce new content with AI assistance.

Can a small marketing team run the website without developers?

Yes, if the website is built for it. Our typical client has a small marketing department. Many have their own developers, but they work on the product and rarely on the website. So we build the website so that whoever is responsible for marketing can publish, build new pages and adjust content without depending on us or waiting for in-house developers. That comes down to how the website is built, not to the training at handover.

Three things make the difference. A component library with ready-made sections, so that new pages follow the design without anyone needing to code. A content structure built to grow with more pages, languages and content types. And a context file that describes your tone of voice, your facts and how the website fits together – it lets you produce new content with AI assistance and update the website via MCP without the copy becoming generic.

After launch you can handle it all yourselves: new pages, new content, campaigns and price changes. If you would rather have help, we are here – with SEO, content and advertising in processes where AI provides the pace and people provide the strategy. That set-up is described on the page about scalable marketing. What you might need us for lies outside day-to-day editing – new section types, integrations and larger structural changes – and we take that on as an add-on, with no lock-in. If you are a startup or scaleup whose offering is still being refined, we have a separate page on how we work as a web agency for startups and scaleups. If you sell to other businesses, with long buying journeys and several decision-makers, the page about our B2B web agency describes that set-up.

Are SEO and AEO included when you build the website?

The technical foundation is always included: a clean HTML structure, metadata, a well-planned URL structure and a fast website measured against Core Web Vitals. It is the same foundation that AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews need to be able to read and represent you – the foundation for SEO and the foundation for AEO are one and the same.

Anything beyond the foundation is optional: keyword research, a page structure built around the keywords, SEO copy and schema markup. A one-off project alongside the build is often the most cost-effective way to start, because the structure and copy are then right from the beginning.

How is AEO different from SEO?

The foundation is the same: a website that is technically clean and clearly structured can be read by both Google and AI assistants. AEO differs from SEO primarily in the questions. A buyer asks an AI assistant questions that are rarely typed into Google – longer, more specific and often comparative. AEO work is about finding those questions and making sure your website answers them.

SEO and AEO are our home turf. We work with search engine optimisation and visibility in AI answers every day, and we build our own pages on the same principles: headings phrased as questions, paragraphs that stand on their own, and facts out in the open – what you do, for whom and at what price. The ongoing work after launch, with keyword strategy, content and follow-up, is described on the page about our SEO agency in Stockholm.

A NEW WEBSITE – BUILT TO WIN BUSINESS

Request a quote, and we will talk about your website, who will run it afterwards and which build track suits you – on Södermalm or by video. You get a fixed price and a recommended build track, and we will tell you if a new website is not the right investment right now.
